A Jay Services offer audio visual project management as part of our overall service. From medium to large scale projects, our PM’s are able to manage your project from start to finish.
Effective AV project management is the key to success, regardless of the scale of the project. The Project Manager is the interface and coordinator between the client, the salesman, the designer of the project and the audio visual installation team.
In addition to internal liaison with members of your own staff, site coordination is required, as there are other trades that will need to be briefed on your mechanical and engineering requirements, determining how this will be factored into the project time frame. We expect all our AV project managers to have a wealth of audio visual knowledge and experience, as this gives them full understanding of every aspect of the project. Our project management experts will:
- Understand your client requirements
- Facilitate effective communication throughout the project
- Enable timely and tidy delivery of the project and within budget
- Leave the client satisfied, leading to possible repeat business
Our audio visual project management specialists can only achieve this through continuity of communication, dialogue with all parties and a total understanding of the client’s expectations and of course the backup and support of a great team behind you.
“We only recruit project managers with the necessary experience, industry knowledge and correct attitude. This allows us to hand over projects knowing our customers are going to be fully taken care of.”
Trust the audio visual project management team at AJS with your project; you’ll find unsurpassed standards of service and technical experience offered by our AV project management team.
Chris Dossi, head of project management for A Jay Services Ltd
Being involved in the audio visual industry for almost 30 years I have seen some changes.
It was 35mm slide projectors, Bell and Howell projectors and OHPs in the early 80s and Phillips 2000 video tape recorders, VHS + Umatic.
With the odd change of department here and there and in various companies I worked my way up to the position of Project Manager. I can legitimately say that having experienced almost every aspect of the AV industry that project management is the most rewarding, seeing a shell of a building through the course of time change into a fully working environment is very rewarding especially when the expectations of your client have been surpassed and the client is totally satisfied with the install, it’s a great sense of achievement.
In my career I have been involved in getting a few companies off the ground, some of which are still around to this day. I have had projects as small as a simple room install of a ceiling-mounted projector linked to an Input plate and a manual pull down screen, to the other end of the spectrum, a total refit of a 180 seat lecture theatre with multiple long throw projectors and screens and two fully populated 47u control and source racks.
I believe that even the smallest of installs should have the same care and attention to detail as the larger ones because at the end of the day that’s what reflects on your company and you as an Individual.
“Having our lead Project Manager being so enthusiastic about his work and the AV industry is such a huge benefit. It means we’re able to put all our trust in him to make the right decisions in order to get a job complete, on time and on budget. His pride in his work is his greatest attribute.
A Jay Services only employ enthusiastic, highly motivated and multi-skilled employees. Project Managers front your business and without the correct persons at the helm you can find yourself in hot water”.
